Sveriges Riksbank, located in Stockholm, is the central bank of Sweden. The Riksbank’s main tasks are to maintain price stability and to promote a safe and efficient payment system in Sweden. Research Economists at the Riksbank conduct research in areas of importance to central banking, with the aim to publish research papers in well-established academic journals. Research Economists also give support and advice to policy departments. The Research Division organizes academic conferences, hosts an international seminar series, and has an active visitors program. Some staff members teach part-time at universities and some are affiliated with the Center for Monetary Policy and Financial Stability (CeMoF) at Stockholm University. The Riksbank is also hosting the BIS Innovation Hub Nordic Centre in Stockholm.

The Centre for Studies in Economics and Finance (CSEF) and the Department of Economics and Statistics (DES), located at the University of Naples Federico II, are closely integrated. DISES coordinates research and training activities related to theoretical and applied economics, finance, and statistical and quantitative disciplines. It offers a PhD programme in Economics and a II Level Master in Economics and Finance (MEF). CSEF is a joint venture of the University of Naples Federico II, University of Salerno, and Bocconi University. The Centre hosts researchers and doctoral students from other Italian and foreign universities. It is also involved in the activities of the Master in Economics and Finance (MEF).
University of Reading
The University of Reading is a research-intensive university, founded in 1926 and situated in the South East of England. The Department of Economics was established in 1964 and now has around 30 members of faculty, about 45 PhD students, and over 500 students on undergraduate and postgraduate taught degrees. The Department of Economics at Vienna University of Business and Economics (WU) covers the range of expert knowledge in the core areas of economic research.
