CREi (Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional)

The Centre for Research in International Economics (CREi) is a research institute sponsored by the Generalitat de Catalunya and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). CREi is located in UPF’s campus in Barcelona and collaborates closely with its Department of Economics on many research and teaching activities. CREi is part of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE). Our research activities focus on macroeconomics in a broad sense, encompassing growth, business cycles, monetary economics, trade, economic geography, etc. CREi’s objective is to promote research subject to the highest standards and to contribute to a better understanding of the economic forces that shape modern societies.

CSEF / DES - University of Naples Federico II

The Centre for Studies in Economics and Finance (CSEF) and the Department of Economics and Statistics (DES), located at the University of Naples Federico II, are closely integrated. DISES coordinates research and training activities related to theoretical and applied economics, finance, and statistical and quantitative disciplines. It offers a PhD programme in Economics and a II Level Master in Economics and Finance (MEF). CSEF is a joint venture of the University of Naples Federico II, University of Salerno, and Bocconi University. The Centre hosts researchers and doctoral students from other Italian and foreign universities. It is also involved in the activities of the Master in Economics and Finance (MEF).

CUNEF Universidad

CUNEF Universidad is a private university located in Madrid, Spain. European Stability Mechanism

The European Stability Mechanism is the permanent crisis resolution mechanism for the countries of the euro area. It has launched five financial assistance programmes, provided financial support, monitored repayment capacity, and engaged with partner institutions in the design of programmes in areas of financial interest. European leaders have agreed to an expanded mandate for the ESM, which will have a stronger role in the analysis of financial stability risks and design of policy measures in programmes jointly with the European Commission, and provide the Single Resolution Board with a financial backstop to support the effective and orderly resolution of banks.
